Going Gaga over Gagabux

Okay, I changed my mind. If Gagabux turns out to be legit in the long run, it's going to topple over Neobux in my list. Not only does it pay one cent per click, it gives out around 14 advertisements to surf per day. It's got a cashout price of $2. Pretty amazing really. I looked around the web, checked out PTC investigations, and based on loads of good reviews of people having been paid by Gagabux, I decided to test it out. It's been working well for me so far, and I really hope this site keeps on paying. I'm not in the stage where I would invest money for rented referrals like I would do Neobux, but if Gagabux keeps up, I would most likely do so.

And the name amuses me as well. Of course, in Filipino terms, the word "gaga" always has a slightly stronger meaning than the typical American usage. But if Gagabux proves to be a good PTC, I wouldn't really care what the name is.

Upbux Turns Scam

It's been a sad, deceptive and somehow sneaky exit by Upbux from the Paid-to-Click world. Upbux has been around for about more than a year, and has been insofar a very stable PTC site that has always paid its members within minutes of clicking the cashout button. Second only to the legendary Neobux, Upbux has been popularized by its ease of use, consistent amount of advertisements, and large supportive userbase.

About two weeks ago before this post, Upbux has declared its PayPal account frozen, blaming PayPal for being a possible scam due to its consistent paying record. Upbux administration once tried to get its members to help out, by emailing PayPal to reactivate their account to keep the site running. Of course when PayPal freezes an account, all funds are also frozen. Later, a statement made by Upbux said how PayPal would completely ignore them, taking away all their money. PTC Investigations narrates the full account from Upbux here.

My speculation? Upbux could be bankcrupt and has completely stopped paying their members, or PayPal has honestly frozen their account due to various member complaints, or PayPal has frozen their account due to Upbux paying to unverified email accounts. It is highly unlikely that PayPal would actually become a scam as it is currently under the jurisdiction of Ebay (and as such, is the lifeblood of global e-commerce). It's also a much bigger company than Upbux, and would most likely not risk its reputation as one of the top payment processors online.

Of course, this would discourage PTC users everywhere. If Upbux has gone down, what would happen to the rest? I just hope that the PTC industry could actually get back on its feet and rise to the likes of Neobux which is still a trusted site to date.

PayPal Wishlist Pays Me $19.00

Yes! Keep the money flowing!

It's January 21, 2010, and it's been a couple months since I started earning online during late November. Finally the rewards are being reaped. PayPal sent me $19.00 through their PayPal Wishlist Application, which is way cool. It's the easiest source of online income I ever tried so far. Sign up, and you get one dollar. Just keep sending out invites on Facebook and you'd start to get cash for one dollar per successful invite - allowing any person with a PayPal account to use the Wishlist App to make their own wishlist. I managed to invite 19 people to use the application. I probably would have had more if I tried sending out friend invites to random people in Facebook.

I got paid by Bux.ee

BUXee - The Innovation in PTC

Here's my proof of payment, I got $2.62.

Now this is the first PTC that actually paid me. Hurray for Bux.ee! I am very happy with Bux.ee so far.

Trial and Error with Wordpress and Free Websites

I've been trying my hand at a Wordpress blog using a free hosting account with Host-ed.net. Needless to say, as a beginner blogger, I really had to work my way through it.

I started out by searching for a good domain provider - a free domain provider. I was too cheap to buy a domain for myself. I found a few popular domain providers ending with the names like .tk, .co.cc, and .co.nr.

MyLot Payment

Time for my first online payment, and it's from myLot! Thanks to someone named SharonBucks who posted tasks worth four dollars each, I was easily able to earn twelve dollars. This was sent to me by the 15th of January - they pay every middle of the month if you reach a minimum of ten dollars.
