Happy holidays, everyone! It's the holiday season of 2009 - a time for presents and time for being with family and friends. It's the time to celebrate the joy of the coming of Christ. And to many internet earners, it's still a time to earn. There's no better time to earn than the holidays, when teenagers are surfing the net like there's no tomorrow, and are trying to make the most out of their vacation time before school once again takes over. When it's Christmastime, opportunities arise, and we take it.
This year hasn't been the easiest of years to many of us. My country has experienced calamities of epic proportions in the form of typhoon Ondoy, known to the world as Ketsana. This, along with the global recession plaguing countries left and right, have compounded into a crisis. But we cannot deny that this year, we have grown stronger for our trials, and better prepared for what could be. These are the kind of times that could make or break us, that could force us to see the best and worst sides of things.
Despite hard times, we still find ways to go on. For online earners, we continually find ways to earn online. Offline, people find other ways to rise to the challenge. But when its Christmas, we get a little boost of hope and excitement. The scent of spending, of countless transactions, of various businesses opportunities is in the air, powered by the ever-so-infectious aura of the holidays. People need to earn some money to spend it. It's great to take advantage of the season. It only comes once a year. We work hard to increase our earnings as best we can. But what is truly a blessing is to enjoy it not only by earning, but also by living it out in the real world. Experience the holidays to its fullest.
The sweetest earnings I had this year didn't come from my online earnings, but from good old Christmas presents from my aunts, uncles, grandparents and godparents. I'm priveleged to say that I'm still young enough to be receiving cash from my relatives - in a few years time I wouldn't be able to say so anymore. Easy money that comes from the goodness of their hearts. I'm very grateful, to say the least.
To internet marketers, PTC clickers, freelancers, adsense publishers, advertisers, web developers, and surfers alike, as well as those who have passed by my blog by sheer chance, I'd like to wish you a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. This post is a friendly reminder to others as well as myself to take some time to celebrate and cherish this season with your loved ones by spending your time wisely. Christmas only comes around once a year. Make the most out of it. Be thankful for all your blessings - your earnings as well as your life offline.
Take a break from the fast-paced internet world, take a breather, and look around to call your loved ones, get out of the house, and finally spend those dollars you've earned on PayPal or by check for someone you love, for a trip with the family, or some Christmas cookies. Or if you haven't cashed out from your favorite sites yet, it's still the perfect time to cuddle up with your loved ones in the cool weather.
Have a look around.
