If Gagabux turns out to be legit in the long run, it's going to topple over Neobux in my list. Not only does it pay one cent per click, it gives out around 14 advertisements to surf per day. It's got a cashout price of $2. Pretty amazing really. I looked around the web, checked out PTC investigations, and based on loads of good reviews of people having been paid by Gagabux, I decided to test it out. It's been working well for me so far, and I really hope this site keeps on paying. I'm not in the stage where I would invest money for rented referrals like I would do Neobux, but if Gagabux keeps up, I would most likely do so.

And the name amuses me as well. Of course, in Filipino terms, the word "gaga" always has a slightly stronger meaning than the typical American usage. But if Gagabux proves to be a good PTC, I wouldn't really care what the name is.

Upbux Turns Scam

It's been a sad, deceptive and somehow sneaky exit by Upbux from the Paid-to-Click world. Upbux has been around for about more than a year, and has been insofar a very stable PTC site that has always paid its members within minutes of clicking the cashout button. Second only to the legendary Neobux, Upbux has been popularized by its ease of use, consistent amount of advertisements, and large supportive userbase.

About two weeks ago before this post, Upbux has declared its PayPal account frozen, blaming PayPal for being a possible scam due to its consistent paying record. Upbux administration once tried to get its members to help out, by emailing PayPal to reactivate their account to keep the site running. Of course when PayPal freezes an account, all funds are also frozen. Later, a statement made by Upbux said how PayPal would completely ignore them, taking away all their money. PTC Investigations narrates the full account from Upbux here.

My speculation? Upbux could be bankcrupt and has completely stopped paying their members, or PayPal has honestly frozen their account due to various member complaints, or PayPal has frozen their account due to Upbux paying to unverified email accounts. It is highly unlikely that PayPal would actually become a scam as it is currently under the jurisdiction of Ebay (and as such, is the lifeblood of global e-commerce). It's also a much bigger company than Upbux, and would most likely not risk its reputation as one of the top payment processors online.

Of course, this would discourage PTC users everywhere. If Upbux has gone down, what would happen to the rest? I just hope that the PTC industry could actually get back on its feet and rise to the likes of Neobux which is still a trusted site to date.

PayPal Wishlist Pays Me $19.00

Yes! Keep the money flowing!

It's January 21, 2010, and it's been a couple months since I started earning online during late November. Finally the rewards are being reaped. PayPal sent me $19.00 through their PayPal Wishlist Application, which is way cool. It's the easiest source of online income I ever tried so far. Sign up, and you get one dollar. Just keep sending out invites on Facebook and you'd start to get cash for one dollar per successful invite - allowing any person with a PayPal account to use the Wishlist App to make their own wishlist. I managed to invite 19 people to use the application. I probably would have had more if I tried sending out friend invites to random people in Facebook.

Unfortunately, PayPal Wishlist is a one-time use only thing, unless they start making a new version again. Maybe next year.

In the meantime, I'd have to find other means of earning online. As I go through more and more PTCs, I get too many scams left and right. You start filtering out the scams from the real deal. It's a trial and error thing. I'm currently thinking of other things right now like paid reviews, freelancing or affiliate marketing. One of those, while PayPal Wishlist isn't there.

I got paid by Bux.ee

Here's my proof of payment, I got $2.62.

Now this is the first PTC that actually paid me. Hurray for Bux.ee! I am very happy with Bux.ee so far.
I got a free silver membership for about a month. Though they did say silver membership was free for three months originally, but they cut it a bit short. They did end up with a deal that they would keep giving the free silver membership for those who invested a certain amount in the website. I haven't invested anything, so I hold no grudges if they do cut it short. I already got a lot from them.

Getting paid was an extremely fast process. All you have to do is click on your payment processor of choice, and you get paid literally within the next second. Cash out is at a minimum of $2.00. The slow part is having to get your payment processor paid - it takes about three or four days to do so because verifying PayPal and AlertPay accounts is done by the admin manually. I suggest asking your PayPal to be verified several days before you plan to cash out if you want instantaneous results.

One thing to know about Bux.ee is that you can't look at other websites while waiting for the counter to go down. The counter will simply stay that way until you actually keep your eyes (or your mouse pointer, at the very least) on the website. I guess that means high quality traffic for those using Bux.ee and more that we consume as PTC clickers. Looking at the bright side though, a good reputation for high quality traffic will probably ensure that Bux.ee will have a good influx of advertisements, and will less likely turn scam.

Trial and Error with Wordpress and Free Websites

I've been trying my hand at a Wordpress blog using a free hosting account with Host-ed.net. Needless to say, as a beginner blogger, I really had to work my way through it.

I started out by searching for a good domain provider - a free domain provider. I was too cheap to buy a domain for myself. I found a few popular domain providers ending with the names like .tk, .co.cc, and .co.nr.
Tk apparently was around for quite a while, but already requires the user to put up a lot of ads. Co.cc had upgrades to give you more control over the website, while .co.nr was overcrowded with users already that it had to stop receiving new domain requests. I finally discovered a good domain provider at cz.cc. It provides you with a domain at no cost, without even being required to use advertisements. Cz.cc also has sufficient DNS control (had to study that one too along the way) so that you could not simply redirect the domain to another website. They even have an affiliate program with which to promote their service, for 14 cents per persons who signs up for a free domain on their site.

In my search for free stuff, I found the best free hosting account with Host-ed.net. I originally signed up at 000webhost.com but found that there were too many bad reviews about its performance, and it was exceptionally slow at too many hours. I eventually switched to Host-ed.net after lots of contemplation and research. So far I am very satisfied with it. The features and interface are great. Uploading files was a breeze. Host-ed.net has given me one experience of downtime, but the good uptime speed made up for it.

Then came uploading Wordpress into my webhost. This one was a challenge. You'd have to modify a lot of stuff - especially that file called wp-config.php. I'm not here to teach you how, just to say that you'd have stuff to do in fixing it up. I had to download and upload the themes as well, and modify it to my desire. Furthermore I found a plugin that could create nifty dropdown menus using categories - it's a plugin by Pixopoint called Multilevel Navigation for Wordpress. But then I tried uploading an SEO plugin, and accidentally deleted something important in my file directory. It wrecked my Wordpress interface. Hence, I'm starting from scratch.

As you can assume, I'm pretty pissed off with Wordpress and the necessities for File Transfer Protocols and all that website creating stuff. Though it's kind of my fault, I can't help it. I suddenly missed the simplicity of Blogger. So here I am, blogging away with Blogger and wondering what could have happened had I not deleted that stupid file. I'm going to have to upload everything all over again, and I'm not sure I have the heart for it at the moment. Maybe when the need arises again.

MyLot Payment

Time for my first online payment, and it's from myLot! This was sent to me by the 15th of January - they pay every middle of the month if you reach a minimum of ten dollars.
Cool, huh? In addition to that, myLot also lets you post various discussions in any topic under the sun. It's just like Yahoo! We go to work during the day, sleep during the night, and hope to get paid or to earn by the middle and end of the month. Then one night, I got a PayPal account, and everything else about money online

Snooping around the internet, I was surprised to discover that earning online was easily accessible to anybody who wanted to try it. There were many means to earn through the internet, and one of them was through pay-to-click websites.

Neobux, a pay-to-click site, was my very first taste of earning online, and today it remains to many as a very reliable and safe means of making cash on the internet. Neobux is an innovation in PTC (pay-to-click) websites in which the goal is to meet the needs of both their users and their advertisers.

A PTC website is defined as a website that charges advertisers for advertising fees on a per-click basis. The users will then click on the advertisements and will be paid according to the number of clicks that they make. In the case of Neobux, the payment is at $0.01 per click. This may not seem like much, but clicking isn't the only means that people gain money from PTC. but with the use of good strategic techniques , you'll be able to get a passive income from Neobux on autopilot. Neobux gives you the opportunity of earning nothing (by not participating at all), to earning as much as you want given your dedication to the PTC program.

PTC programs like Neobux are not get-rich quick schemes, multi-level marketing schemes, ponzi or high-yield investment programs. The aim of PTC is to give the advertisers opportunity to reach thousands of consumers, and to give the consumers a chance to earn a percentage of the advertisement fee. Neobux is therefore free to join, with no necessary capital or risks in order to gain an investment. Far from being a scam, it is the most trusted site in the PTC industry since year 2007, during its launch.

How does it work? PTC websites like Neobux allow you to earn cash by viewing websites for about 20 to 40 seconds before closing the window. You click one advertisement at a time, and wait for the timer to stop before you are credited for the advertisement.
Many PTC sites have referral programs, in which you are paid for directly referring someone to sign up as a member on the website through your referral link. You are then given a commission for every click the referral makes. This is one way to gain a lot more from PTC sites like Neobux. What makes Neobux unique, however, is that unlike many PTC sites, it has an efficiently functioning rent-a-referral feature. Neobux referrals are real people whom you pay to do the clicking for you, and as a result, you are credited for their clicking. You can use your previously earned credits to rent referrals, and therefore be able to reach the payout rate of $2 (and much more than that) a lot faster than you would have done without referrals. Other PTC sites also have this option of renting referrals, but a lot of them use automated bots that do a little amount of clicking before stopping eventually, making them poor investments. Neobux is one of the rare few that gives you a better assured investment, because you are counting on real people, not programs, to do your clicking. With a good set of referrals and enough management strategy, you will be earning a hundred dollars a month with Neobux.

To Online Earners: Happy Holidays!

Happy holidays, everyone! It's the holiday season of 2009 - a time for presents and time for being with family and friends. It's the time to celebrate the joy of the coming of Christ. And to many internet earners, it's still a time to earn. There's no better time to earn than the holidays, when teenagers are surfing the net like there's no tomorrow, and are trying to make the most out of their vacation time before school once again takes over. When it's Christmastime, opportunities arise, and we take it.

This year hasn't been the easiest of years to many of us. My country has experienced calamities of epic proportions in the form of typhoon Ondoy, known to the world as Ketsana. This, along with the global recession plaguing countries left and right, have compounded into a crisis. But we cannot deny that this year, we have grown stronger for our trials, and better prepared for what could be. These are the kind of times that could make or break us, that could force us to see the best and worst sides of things.
Despite hard times, we still find ways to go on. For online earners, we continually find ways to earn online. Offline, people find other ways to rise to the challenge. But when its Christmas, we get a little boost of hope and excitement. The scent of spending, of countless transactions, of various businesses opportunities is in the air, powered by the ever-so-infectious aura of the holidays. People need to earn some money to spend it. It's great to take advantage of the season. It only comes once a year. We work hard to increase our earnings as best we can. But what is truly a blessing is to enjoy it not only by earning, but also by living it out in the real world. Experience the holidays to its fullest.

The sweetest earnings I had this year didn't come from my online earnings, but from good old Christmas presents from my aunts, uncles, grandparents and godparents. I'm priveleged to say that I'm still young enough to be receiving cash from my relatives - in a few years time I wouldn't be able to say so anymore. Easy money that comes from the goodness of their hearts. I'm very grateful, to say the least.

To internet marketers, PTC clickers, freelancers, adsense publishers, advertisers, web developers, and surfers alike, as well as those who have passed by my blog by sheer chance, I'd like to wish you a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. This post is a friendly reminder to others as well as myself to take some time to celebrate and cherish this season with your loved ones by spending your time wisely. Christmas only comes around once a year. Make the most out of it. Be thankful for all your blessings - your earnings as well as your life offline.

Take a break from the fast-paced internet world, take a breather, and look around to call your loved ones, get out of the house, and finally spend those dollars you've earned on PayPal or by check for someone you love, for a trip with the family, or some Christmas cookies. Or if you haven't cashed out from your favorite sites yet, it's still the perfect time to cuddle up with your loved ones in the cool weather.

Another Great Earning Site: Prize Live

I was looking around discussions on myLot when I found this cool earning site called Prize Live.

I only started today but it's been pretty good so far, so I decided to write a post about it.
Prize Live pays you to complete offers, play games, and through referrals for up to two levels. But what I particularly like about this site are the types offers that it makes. It pays you to follow it on Twitter and Facebook, which would take no time at all. It pays you to take surveys, as well as to download the Alexa toolbar, which I appreciated, because the Alexa toolbar actually ended up being useful to me as I researched it. It also has the standard PTC and various surveys that you could fill up. What's more are the fun games that allow you to earn cash during your stay in the site. I'm really seeing a lot of potential for this site but since I haven't cashed out yet I'll update this blog whenever I receive my payment.

Paid to Promote or Publish

Every website pays you to promote your referral links and your affiliate links. But some websites are particularly different in paying to promote in a very specialized manner.

LinkBucks

LinkBucks is a website that pays you to promote your own affiliate links. Yes, your own links. Except that you use their diversion system that allows the person to click the link to see an intermission, top banner or pop-up for LinkBucks. How it works is that they give you a secondary link that still goes to the same website you are directing your reader to, but with an additional link to LinkBucks.
Use this site with discretion, though. Many people would not appreciate pop-ups or banner ads going around everywhere, so don't put it in a site where you feel that credibility is vital.

AdHitz
AdHitz is a very similar website to Google AdSense, using the same principles of publishing. You basically publish their ads on your website or blog, and you are paid for the number of clicks you get. The advantage of AdHitz, unlike AdSense, is that it allows members with websites that publish affiliate links and referral links - so there wouldn't be any trouble of your account being cancelled. From my experience, every click someone makes pays well around $0.04, but that usually depends on how much the company has paid AdHitz. The payout is also at $20 rather than Google's $100. According to various reviews, AdHitz does pay, and is related to its sister site, Clixsense - another reputable pay-to-click company.

Get Paid To Socialize and Review

Here are a few other Get-Paid-To Sites that I love using, primarily because they aren't paying you to click, but to socialize, write, review and work their website. To me, it's a lot more fun way to raise funds online because you're required to think of what you're going to write, even though most of it are actually no-brainers. Still much better than clicking, though, but that depends on your cup of tea.

MyLot
MyLot is a website that pays you to post and reply to discussions, post your photos, and to complete tasks such as sign-up and writing tasks. Mainly the source of income is through discussions. MyLot payments are given out on a monthly basis through PayPal, should your total earnings that month be equal to or more than $10.00.

Earning through MyLot isn't very fast - you earn about 0.02 USD per reply you post, and about a little more if you start a discussion and people reply to it. Quality discussions earn more than one or two liners. It's important to treat myLot as a social networking site rather than just an earning site - you'd get more income that way.
It's possible to get referrals for your own PTC and GPT sites in myLot, but be very careful not to go against MyLot's terms of service. The best and cleanest way to get referrals is lead them to your profile page and your website by posting good replies rather than by posting referral links.
Tasks are also a very important source of income in MyLot. On occassion, there are writing tasks given out that are worth $4.00. I signed up for three of those and earned $12.00 in my first three days on MyLot for three articles, which I felt was a pretty good deal.

PeopleString
PeopleString is website that pays you to keep working their site filled with various good features. They have free games, chat, email, forums, blogs, photo uploads, polls, and networking that is highly reminiscent of Facebook. They even give you an email account with a self-destruct feature - which prevents email tracking. Web IM accessibility through AOL, Yahoo, GoogleTalk and MSN are also employed through PeopleString. Being a new website, I feel that PeopleString actually has a lot of potential. They earn you some money by having fun at the same time by networking.
It's drawback of being new, however, is that it's not very populated in terms of content and people. A lot of people haven't heard of it yet, so content-wise, there's not a lot of topics that have been covered. If you signed up for PeopleString, maybe you could do something about that. There's a lot of stuff you could possibly post.
Payment modes are a little confusing for some people. You have various sources of income. There's cash back shopping, where you earn cash by shopping for stuff you like. Then there's the Mailbox Cashbox program, where they send you verification IDs through snail mail, then they pay you for reading through it. The previously mentioned modes of income are only available for US and Canada at the moment. If you're an international user, what you can do is earn through People Dollars, People Points, and referral revenues.
To earn People Dollars, you can complete third party company offers. One People Dollar is to one cent, and the number of People Dollars vary per offer. Earning People Points is the easiest. You are paid to log in, work the site, play around, chat, and do other things, and you earn People Points. This determines your monthly share of payment by generating revenue for the website. The referral program gives you 5% of what your first level referrals earned and 2% from level 2 to 6.
The minimum payout is at $25, and they pay you monthly either by check or PayPal account. If you did not manage to reach this, then it will be carried over to the next month's pay date.

SlicethePie
SlicethePie is a different kind of website. Here, you're paid to listen to music, and give a bit of your opinion in about two or three lines. They pay you, at a starting point, of 0.03 Euros per review, in voucher form. In order to earn more, you have to increase your rating. You can do this by reviewing more, giving out quality reviews, by tipping artists whom you feel will make it in SlicethePie, and by fairly rating artists songs. As you go through the process, you will be able to determine the appropriate ratings to increase your accuracy. Constructive reviews will get your ratings up as well. You can write what you felt, but tell them how to improve their song as well.
In the meantime, as a starting reviewer, you will be obtaining vouchers per review. You can use these vouchers to root for the artists whom you think will be able to get good funding, and then you will be able to get a share of their revenue in their success in the industry.

Traffic Exchange

People who have been exposed to the world of earning online know importance of traffic and people clicking on your links, whether they may be referral links, affiliate links, or your own site. If you're running a website or posting your referral links, I would like to recommend the following websites to increase your traffic. All of them are free to join.
The benefit with manual traffic exchange is that it increases your pagerank and Alexa rankings by boosting the number of visits to your site.

LinkReferral.com
LinkReferral.com is a site that is unlike many traffic exchanges. It gives out a lists of websites for people to click on according to what is interesting to them, and does not give it out on an automated basis. Psychologically, that lets the user check out the website more seriously than that of an autosurf.
Aside from that, you can even get your website reviewed. In exchange, you can surf up to thirty websites per day, review and post in forums once a day, in order to maintain your status among the top websites going about. I highly recommend this site for those who are looking for good quality traffic. Another supplement is that you could even use Linkbucks for other people to click on your links using the system, so that you'd be earning money every time someone clicks your link.

EasyHits4U.com
EasyHits4U is a manual traffic exchange program that is highly recommended among other traffic exchanges. It gives out a 1:1 ratio for clicking that requires the user to mildly think of what to click next, therefore enabling your viewer to stay a little longer. And if you were to view 50 sites, then 50 other pageviews will be made on your site. EasyHits4U also has many features, including a site rotator, a banner rotator, and a referral program for up to five levels. If you want credits and cash for your surfing, then you can go for a 2:1 exchange ratio. In this mode, you can get $0.30 per 1000 views you make.

Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketers are the sales reps of the net. In order to earn, they have to advertise the product in which they are affiliated with in order earn their commissions. They would use as many means possible in order to make a sale. Affiliate marketers on the internet do the same thing, except that they don't walk door to door. They walk webpage to webpage, advertising their affiliate links as much as possible to earn a commission.

A starting affiliate marketer could start by looking for a product that he or she is willing to promote. Preferably, he or she would have tried the product enough to believe in it and market it effectively and with more conviction. So if you're looking for a product, try to find something that you would personally buy before trying to market it. A good place to start looking would be ClickBank, where you would be able to find a great selection of information products that would be possibly on demand on the internet. Keep in mind while you are looking for a product to sell, that it would be in an untapped niche where competition isn't very tight.

Having found your niche, promotion is the next step in the process. You can do these with three basic ways, aside from various other way to promote your product. Your aim is to generate traffic that will eventually convert into purchases, so you will need high quality directed traffic for your affiliate link.

1. Pay per click advertising
Pay per click advertising is an easy way to drive traffic to your affiliate link, at a cost. A prime example of pay per click advertising is Google Adwords. Adwords charges you for a specified amount depending on the amount of bidders who want to advertise for a particular keyword or search term. It is therefore important to find the keywords that haven't been tapped yet, but show potential for being searched. An example of this would be new trends that have recently been searched on Google and other major search engines. You then pay for the advertising by the number of clickthroughs that are made on your advertisement. Make sure to make the most out of your pay per click advertising to ensure the best results.
One con in Adwords is the remaining amount of click frauds that happen in AdSense. Of course, Google is one of the strictest advertisers around the web, so you can be assured of relative safety when it comes to their advertising. Still, you are welcome to try other forms of advertising, both paid and manual traffic exchange. However, it still depends on the website whether they will be able to maintain good quality traffic towards the advertisers.

2. Article marketing
Article marketing is another means in which to advertise your affiliate link, or to your blog or website where your affiliate link is attached. In article marketing, you submit an article to one of many article directories out there. Some of them pay you for the number of pageviews that your article gets, but some of them don't. But the advantage of putting up articles even in the ones that don't pay is the amount of exposure that you get in the area of online article writing. For every article, a person views your work as well as your author box, in which you may put backlinks back into your blog, website, or affiliate link. Mind you that you should take note of the terms of service of that particular article directory - some of them permit affiliate links on the page, some of them don't even allow articles that promote products. If you increase the number of backlinks to your site, you don't only increase possible traffic, you also increase your rankings in search engines.

3. Social networking
Social networking is the most basic way to promote your website. Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Plurk, LinkedIn, and a vast number of networking sites give you countless opportunities in promoting your links, and with the number of people on the internet, a lot of people will definitely see them. Another more direct option is through email, but you will have to be creative in having to obtain email addresses from people. Try not to spam people, but to maintain a good relationship within the online community so that people will be able to support your online earning endeavors.

The Paid Clicker Perspective

Pay-to-Click websites are program websites that allow the member to click a specified amount of advertisements in return for a small compensation of typically 0.01 USD. In order to be successful in an affiliate program such as this, one must not only click on the advertisements but also make sure to get referrals either through rental or through direct link provision.

In order to get started in earning through PTC websites, one must have a PayPal account, or an alternative, AlertPay. Most, if not all, PTC websites pay through these means.

Signing up for a good PTC account is vital, as there are many PTC sites on the web, and a lot of them are scam websites that may or may not shut down once they get enough funds from membership upgrades. One precaution, therefore, is to research the reputation of the PTC website that you are investigating in order to discern whether it is worth it or not to sign up for it.

A legitimate website would typically feature a forum for all its members to access, and several proofs of payment as well as members comments would posted on it. A non-legitimate site would usually remove its forum due to members posting negative comments, or maintain a fake forum where no one could actually post except the administration.

It is also worthy of note that a legitimate website would seem professionally made, and rather original in its design. Some websites would have very similar designs because some scripts for PTCs can be purchased off the internet. A legitimate site would usually take time to create its scripts from its own staffers.

In order to maintain your activity in the website, you must login every 24 hours to click on the links. It depends on the website as well as your type of membership, whether free or purchased, to determine the number of websites.

I would personally not recommend getting membership upgrades for any PTC unless it has been proven to be a well-paying PTC site.

Furthermore, there is the issue of trying to get the much-needed referrals. Getting referrals is the challenge in every PTC. Referrals are the ones who do the clicking for us, for the effort of them signing up under our referral links. Many have used various techniques in getting referrals. Others have simply invested in the website in order to rent referrals rather than get direct referrals.

There are several ways in getting referrals.

One of them is to put a blog and adding a collection of PTC websites. Ensure that the PTC websites included are the ones you know are paying pretty well. Good information regarding the PTC website is helpful in order for the visitors of your site to discern the value of these websites.

Traffic exchange sites are also helpful for some PTC sites, and other types of programs. It allows the person to see your program through your referral link and therefore increases the chances for you to view them. The chances that they would sign up, however, depend on the appeal of the site as well as the amount of people who already signed up versus those who have yet to do so.

Sites that exchange referrals for points are also helpful, again, depending on the site you are promoting. One example of said site is Getref.com, which allows you to accumulate points by signing up on other programs in exchange for getting your own programs to be signed under.

Some people would also manually get into forums that would exchange programs to sign up under. I would not personally recommend this because a lot of people would sign up under too many programs, and not all of these programs are good. Be very careful exchanging - make sure you exchange for a program that you would already want to join anyway.

If you're feeling rather lazy to do that, simply rent the referrals, or buy them. Of course, this takes time because you would need to have enough credit in that site, unless you are willing to invest a certain amount.

Pay-to-Click

Pay-to-Click sites are self-explanatory. You click, they pay. But there are certain particular dynamics in PTC sites that you should know. The lingo, the referrals, the programs, the payment rates, the cash outs, the scams, the legit sites. Check out the following links which might be helpful to you in delving into the realm of PTC's.

The Paid Clicker Perspective
What's the world of a PTC clicker like? See the classic story of the daily struggle of clicking and getting referrals. Starting out, or a veteran clicker - this might be familiar to you, then again it might not.

My List of Best Pay to Click Sites
Who do I work for? I work for about less than twenty PTC sites that I finally found to be legitimate, relatively in good standing as a paying website, and have good click compensation rates. Check them out. Who knows - they might be pretty good. If you join in one of them as my referral, I'll throw in a free e-book. Like one of those e-books they keep selling in the links you click, except that this one's for free. Just contact me by posting a reply with your new account name, then I'll check on my account if you're there, and I'll send you a copy of the e-books I've been able to snatch during my time in the internet marketing world.

Referral Tools
Every PTC guy or gal needs a downline. That's the lifeblood of any PTC, and a bunch of other sites. If you want to get referrals by investing nothing but time and effort, then take a look at the following methods of getting referrals. You may or may not make your own blog in utilizing these methods to direct people to your links.

Traffic Exchange
Manual traffic exchange is where you click in exchange for other people's clicks on your website or affiliate link. Click here for more information on my favorite traffic exchanges: LinkReferral.com and EasyHits4U.com.

Referral Exchange
Referral exchange is a method employed by a lot of people in adding members to their downline. The referral exchange doesn't necessarily have to be in a particular website - it could even be in a section of a forum, in the form of a blog comment, or a PM. But I would like to recommend some websites that have allowed me to get referrals by negotiating with the members for an exchange of signing up to their websites. They're myLot, and Referral Exchanger PTC Forum. GetRef.com, on the other hand, is a program where you could earn points by signing up in programs in exchange for rewarding points for other people to sign up to yours. This is a bit more organized than by manual referral exchange in forums.

Ways to Make Money Online

Allow me to make an outline of the ways that I have researched, and mostly tried, in making money online. My way isn't the only way - there are thousands of other possibilities. But for the sake of some perspective, I'd like to enumerate them:

1. Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing, in its simplest of definitions, is known as advertising someone else's product and being paid on commission per sale. Affiliate marketing rules the internet, and is one of the reasons why information in the internet is at such a great volume.
In order to start with this, you must be able to find an affiliate company that you are willing to sell, and that you would believe a lot of people would buy. Look for something that would interest you personally - as a consumer. A good place to start with would be ClickBank. It acts as a third party that ties up affiliates and sellers to ensure payment process safety. As a marketer, try to find something that is easy to market.

Search on the best trends of the day, the top searches that come out of Google and Yahoo. Chances are, these are good niches to start with. An even better niche would be one that would have only a little competition in terms of advertisements. With little competition, bids like these would be a lot lower. Look them up, and if you found only a few ads to them, then you've probably found the right one. Try using Google Adword keyword selection in order to find out about the best keywords of your desired niche. You can then advertise through various ways, such as through your own blog articles and by posting ads (both free and paid). Traffic exchange sites could work, depending on your niche and on the site interface.

Article marketing is another good way of promoting your affiliate link. All you have to do is to write an article, not necessarily about the product you're promoting, but somewhat related to it. You could post it on free posting sites such as Go Articles, EzineArticles, and Associated Content. A good article would allow people to link your article to their own blog, and will therefore get you more chances to promote your affiliate link. How? By posting your affiliate link in your profile page. Make more articles, and then you will be able to get more links to your affiliate link. Associated Content even pays you per view of your article.

2. Pay-to-Click Websites

Pay-to-Click sites are controversially famous. They are either wonderfully stable and successful, or they are unstable websites that eventually run out of money because someone hacked into them or the website owner stops paying funds. You've probably heard of the fame of Neobux as a million-dollar payer to thousands of clickers, and the notoriety of Bux.to for scamming an equal number of people. Still, one cannot deny that there is cash in paid-to-click. The advantage with pay-to-click is its simplicity. It gives you just about four or more advertisements to click, for usually about 0.01 USD per ad, then you're done for the day.

The challenge of pay-to-click is getting referrals to sign up under you and to get that referral clicking so that you could earn a commission from that referral's click. It's a lot like multilevel marketing, except that you don't have to pay for anything. You really just have to promote, promote and promote your referral link so that other people will sign up under you. You could use the same methods as with affiliate marketing through blogs, posting articles, advertisement links and traffic exchange, but you could also use referral exchange websites. Referral exchange websites trade referral links wherein the principle is "I sign up under you, you sign up under me." It depends on how much effort you're willing to put into it that would allow you to get more referrals.

3. Get Paid to (Post, Blog, Review, Survey) Websites

Closely related with Pay-to-Click are the Paid-to-Post, Paid-to-Blog, Paid-to-Review and Paid-to-Answer-Survey Websites. Different websites have different principles behind them, but usually, the rates are relatively higher than that of Paid-to-Click. It's a no-brainer. Writing is harder than clicking.

A few websites like MyLot and Peoplestring pay you to be active in their websites for a small fee. Just keep posting discussions, reviews, and other means of working the site, and you will receive residual income. Both of them encourage promotion through referrals, so you'd also earn income from that. Other sites like Slicethepie ask you to review music pieces with a few lines of your opinion.

Then again, other websites pay you to advertise their products on your blog by writing a good review of their products. Very similar to affiliate marketing, except that you are paid a fixed price for that single article, and not for every sale of the product that was made through your review and your affiliate link.

4. Article Writing and Freelancing

One of the most common ways of freelancing is through writing. Some people earn online for a fee of being paid per article or a set of articles. Eventually, they are able to establish themselves in the online community as an efficient and effective writer. There are two means of earning through writing. Article marketing was mentioned earlier. And then there's ghostwriting.

Ghostwriting is where your articles are bought by the demand made by the hiring party. Your rights to the article are then removed, and the employers make use of it as they desire (post it in their blogs, submit it to their teachers or companies, whatnot). For this, they give you a set price, for example, on a 400 word article ranging on $5 to $15 at a starting price. An established writer would make much more.

Here's the kicker: Once you've got a project that promises to give you a lot more, say, $20, for one article, you start outsourcing. Other people would write that article for four to seven dollars, so you tap them and ask them to write for you by posting your own jobs for a smaller fee. The terms are the same - they write the article but remove their rights for reposting and all ownership goes to you. Then you copyread it to make sure it would be acceptable work to submit in your name, and you sell it to the employer. All ownership goes to the employer. You have then become the middle man rather than the one who does all the work.

4. Adsense and similar tools

If you've got a website with pretty good traffic and content, then Adsense is for you. Adsense is a good source of residual income. You basically ask Google to approve your website and your account, then you will be able to monetize your website by posting their ads on your blog. Google then pays you for the number of click-throughs that other people make on the ads you have posted. The payout rate is at $100. Just remember that you would not be approved by Google if you're planning to use your blog in posting referral links - it's against their policy, and will get you banned. Still, there are other sources of advertisement publishing such as AdHitz and the like. I personally use AdHitz to monetize - they allow posting affiliate and referral links in your website without the fear of getting banned.

6. Stocks and forex

If you're the kind of person who's willing to take monetary risk for a profit, then forex is for you. But always be careful in where you invest your money. A lot of sites out there will be advertising forex robots that probably don't really work. Research and Google the site very well, look at forums and reviews about that site, and if you've found nothing but good feedback, then that probably the time to jump in. One site that I've researched is Verifield, which has a very good reputation among its users of giving payments as due on time. I personally have an account, and have seen the seriousness of how it works, but I haven't invested yet because I have yet to create a Liberty Reserve account to invest with. But as a rule, always take care whenever someone asks you to invest in their website.

Throughout these various methods of earning, it is always handy to have a reliable money transferring system. You would most definitely need a credit card, an online transaction handler such as PayPal, and a bank account in which to deposit your earnings.

Feel free to post comments, questions and suggestions on this article. I wish you luck in your own online earning venture!

Introduction to Making Money Online

Most people have no idea about the market that is happening beyond the day job that people do for eight hours per day. What they don't know is that there is in fact a flourishing multi-billion dollar industry that exists solely online. We know it as E-commerce. Transactions are continually made at light speed rates throughout the globe electronically.

Beginners in earning money online might be skeptical about the process as a whole. Getting started isn't easy - there's always the fear of getting scammed, of going into the wrong methods of online earning. I've been there. But once I got started, it expanded like a balloon of possibilities surrounding me that I just had to try for myself.

Then there's always the confusion that there might be a better way other than what you're currently doing at the moment. A lot of people will be pitching their methods as the best way to earn online, and we get easily distracted. It's human nature - we see a good opportunity and think that their methods are probably better than ours. We abandon our previous project in favor of getting started on the newest one.

What I really recommend is thoroughly studying what would work for you, though it would always be a trial and error thing that is always a part of any online business. And when you've researched on it, keep it up and make sure you excel in that field. Don't try to do so many things at once. You're only one person behind one computer, as much as you would wish otherwise.

Once you've got the hang of it, I'm pretty sure you'll be able to get several other income streams on the internet. There are literally thousands of ways to earn online, and I suggest you don't stop yourself from exploring them.

What I'm gonna do in this blog is to show you the ways to earn money online that I've tried and am currently trying. To me, it really helps so that I can keep track of my income streams. I hope this could also be helpful to you in find out your own journey through earning online.
